EDLounge Complaints procedure and escalation process are in the Learner and Employer Handbook which you were issued at Signup and is also on your online learning platform. EDLounge Lead for complaints is Cara Radford. For unresolved complaints having followed the escalation process (as required by the ESFA), you can contact the Apprenticeship helpline: nationalhelpdesk@apprenticeships.gov.uk, or telephone: 0800 015 0400. As learner and employer, you agree the information given is correct at the time of signing and agree to update any changes as required. As learner and employer, you understand that the information you have given on this form will be held on the EDLounge database for administration and purposes. We agree that this information may be shared with any other organisations in association with EDLounge for Education, Training, Employment and Well-Being Related Purposes.

Privacy agreement and contract agreement

Employers: by signing this document you agree to EDLounge contacting you. You agree to EDLounge using and sharing data collected during this Apprenticeship. You understand that the data will also be retained to evidence funding claims for your apprentice, as required by Government funding bodies, regulatory bodies and associated Government legislation. The data can also be used to generate claims for payment, authorising ED Lounge to forward any incentive payments due to you. Data sharing will also include acceptance of the ESFA Privacy Notices (the funding body and data related evidence required throughout the Apprenticeship as outlined in the Employer’s Rules). You agree that ED Lounge is your appointed provider and data share on your behalf, by signing we have your permission to collect and share data. This evidence is used to validate and meet funding requirements. You agree for us to contact you (the employer) in connection with progression, ongoing support, funding of the Apprentices and government funding claims made via the ESFA. Data will be kept by the ESFA or their equivalent. Your statutory rights have not been affected. You are now confirming your agreement to share your data. Please refer to our policy below which explains how to contact ED Lounge regarding your data. Data changes can alter eligibility for government funding.

Learners: By signing this document you are agreeing to the following: EDLounge can use and share your data collected during the application, sign up process and throughout your Apprenticeship to evidence your funding claim and learning progression, achievement and to provide ongoing evidence of your eligibility claim for funding and support for your Apprenticeship. Your data will be shared as required by Government funding bodies, regulatory bodies and associated Government legislation which can include local authorities. You agree that your data can also be used on your behalf to obtain information, Advice and Guidance for agreed support. Your data can also be shared with training partners, your parents or guardian (where you are under 18,) and your employer to support employer funding claims. You agree to EDLounge sharing your data with the ESFA, our Training Partners, Awarding Bodies, Endpoint Assessors and for clarification throughout the course.  EDLounge data shares data on behalf of you and your employer. You agree that we have your permission to contact you in order to offer continuing support, confirm your data, confirm your employer progression, update details and perform Quality Assurance checks which include satisfaction and progression surveys. Data is shared only to support your Apprenticeship and progression.  We are guided by the ESFA Apprenticeship Rules, (We are required to validate your eligibility for funding throughout your course, for Government auditing requirements). We confirm all data collected is kept directly by EDLounge for a period set by the ESFA or their replacement. You have rights under the GDPR and data remains yours at all times. As part of the eligibility process, we ask you to confirm your agreement to data sharing and retention; the ESFA Privacy statement requirements can be seen below.   Persons aged over 16 years old have the right to agree to their own data sharing and to request its correction, the data remains yours. See below for details of how to contact EDLounge regarding data updates or to make a request for a copy of your data. Data changes after commencement can alter your eligibility for apprenticeship government funding, and in some cases invalidate your Apprenticeship.


Below we give you details of how to contact EDLounge in the event of requiring alterations to your data:

Contacting us: your data, your rights to access and confirm or amend your data, held by EDLounge. You can request a change to your data or a copy of your data on production of certified copies of two forms of ID - one of which must be photographic). Certification of your identity must be made by a legal or medical professional or if the learner still studying, by the learner's Work-based Tutor and sent to the address below. You can also change your contact preferences.  Please note funding may be impacted where data is changed or withdrawn.

The information you provide to us is controlled by EDLounge via our ‘Data Controller’, however, data that may be supplied to us by any third party is controlled by them, including for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Act) and any other applicable laws
